I have a question for you. I'm doing a little research for my next book and I was wondering what books you read that you couldn't put down. You know the page turners that keep you up half the night? I think I have the main character nailed down that I want to use but my plot needs beefing up. Thanks...

Geralds Game, Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, The Long Walk - King/Bachman. These 3 actually did keep me up all night, I love books that enter the characters head.
I know I'm going to think of more the minute I sign out hehe

Nothing keeps me from my sleep. Nothing.

Besides, you'd probably laugh at my choice of books.

Dean Koontz.

The human condition: angst and the growth beyond it...especially if it flows beauifully and I care about the characters. John Irving did it with A Prayer for Owen Meany. Others: Catch 22, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, This Much I Know to be True, She's Come Undone, In the Garden of Good and Evil, Contact, House of Sand and Fog, The World According to Garp, ...even...Gone With The Wind..was a page turner at one time. To Kill A Mockingbird...oh and Holes. On the other hand...it depends on my mood...right now I reading Douglas Adams...Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
There have been a few page turners over the years...but I can't stay awake that long anymore.

I hardly ever read. Reading is passé. No one reads anymore. Online role playing games is where it's at nowadays.
