This will show you how to use word verification to stop the spamming bastards. This had to be done before I lost it, hunted these bastards down and kicked some spammer ass.
If I saw something like this again I would have lost it for sure:

sometimes i mess up the word verification and have to do it twice. grrr.
Haloscan comments disappear after... what, 300 comments? I dunno.
Word ver. is hard to read sometimes, but it also gives you something to add to your comment... you can interpret them.
For instance, this one is vdszqt.
